Good Friends= Good Times

Here are my two best friends here in Munich.
The one on the left is Nuno. He comes from portugal and works as a graphic designer. We've known each other since November, but it seems longer. Nuno has been a great friend. I know that I can always count on him. He is interresting, generous, caring and always up for a good time.
The girl on the right is Ding Ding. Yes her first name is Ding and her last name is also Ding :P. She comes from China. I've known her since September. She is the cutest girl alive. She is really sweet and I know that I can talk about everything with her and she won't judge me. Just like Nuno, she is always up for a good time.
I feel really grateful to have them both in my life. It makes my time in Munich much more lovable.
Thank you guys for everything.
xx

Mes amis au Canada, ne vous inquiétez pas, vous restez toujours en première place dans mon coeur. Je vous ADORE et je m'ennuie beaucoup de vous. Mouahz

USA vs French Canada

The following concerns only certain americans, let's not generalize.

There is something that's been annoying me for quite a while. Here in Munich, there are a lot of Americans, and let me tell you that most of them have been living up to their reputation. They wonder why the world doesn't like them, but they don't do a lot to be loved.
There is something that I wasnt aware of at all: Americans don't like French Canadians!!?!? I have been insulted here by a couple of them because I am a french Canadian. One even asked me: 'Why do you guys speak french? Why don't you just speak english like everybody else?'
Is this guy for real??? Ok I'm sorry mister if I can speak 3 languages, and you just 1!!!! I get this kind of comment quite often.
I just needed to share that with you guys. I feel much better now. Les américains sont tellement tatas. Par contre, pas tous, j'en ai quand même trouvé quelques uns de décents.
And I have another question: Do english Canadians have a really different accent from Americans? Personally, I can't really tell the difference.

Short Resume

So, after already 7 months here in Germany I finally decided to start a blog. Sorry for my francophone friends, but i'm mostly going to write in english, since I have a lot of friends that don't speak french...
I can't believe i've already been here for 7 months!! That means I only have 5 months left. That breaks my heart. Munich is now my home. That's why I'm doing some research to find a job. We will see how that works out.
I'll try to make a short resume of my time here. Since I arrived in Europe, I've been to Paris, Prague, Nürnberg, Bamberg, Mainburg, Hambourg, Newschwanstein, Stuttgart. It's not a lot for 7 months here, but i'm planning a big trip this summer.
Let's talk about Christmas. It was my first time ever spending christmas away from family and friends. It wasnt as hard that I thought it would be. The family where i'm staying took really good care of me. Although they have different traditions, it was not all that different. It's really special to spend Christmas with young children. They are so cute. I wanted to show the family some french canadian traditions, so I cooked a tourtière. It wasn't bad at all. I'm realy proud of myself. :)
During the holidays, it was also my birthday. The actual day was really boring since all my friends were out of town, but they made it up to me when they came back. I had wonderful evening and received a lot of gifts. My friends really spoiled me. Some even sent me flowers my mail. Thanks to Igor and Peter. :) They sang me happy birthday is 5 languages (french, english, german, chinese and portugese). That was truely awsome.

Since I have arrived to Munich, I met so many wonderful people from all over the world. I feel really blessed to have the chance to be living this experience.
I will try to keep you updated more often.
